What it does for the course
Better pace of play
Someone who knows where the ball went, and where the group is meant to be, takes minutes off every hole.
A better round for your players
Reads, yardages and local knowledge turn a decent afternoon into the one they talk about.
The course gets looked after
Bunkers raked properly, divots replaced, pitch marks fixed — by someone whose rating depends on it.
A reason to choose you
Caddies available is a line in your pitch that most public courses cannot write.
Nothing for you to run
No payroll, no scheduling, no caddie master, no cash changing hands in your car park.
What Looper handles
Finding caddies
We recruit locally and they list the courses they work. You are not sourcing anybody.
Who they are
Every caddie signs a contractor agreement and a liability waiver, completes a short briefing on etiquette and course care, and has their identity verified by Stripe before they can be paid.
The money
Golfers pay through the app. Caddies are paid to their bank. No cash on your property and no invoices to you.
Standards
Both sides rate each other after every round. Ratings are public on a caddie's profile, complaints go to a person, and we remove caddies who earn it.
What it costs the club
Nothing. Looper takes a percentage of what the golfer pays the caddie, and that is the whole business model.
What we would need from you
Short list, and most of it is a conversation rather than paperwork.
Permission
Your say-so that caddies are welcome on the course, and any conditions attached to that.
A point of contact
Usually the head professional or the general manager — someone we can call when something needs sorting.
Your house rules
Where caddies check in, what they can wear over the bib, whether they can be in the shop, where they wait.
Your tee sheet reality
The times you would rather not have caddies out, if there are any.
Where this is up to
Looper is built and working. We are opening at a small number of courses for the start of the 2027 season, which is the part we are doing now.
- Now Talking to courses Picking where to open, and learning what each club needs before anyone plays.
- Winter Recruiting and briefing caddies At the courses that say yes, so there are people ready on day one.
- March 2027 First rounds When the season starts and there is golf to caddie.
